This is the point in my life, where I'll probably be getting the most reading done. My mind is sharp, my body needs more exercise then I give it, I'm just in school, don't really have a job. You know what they say, so many books to read, only some much time in our lives. And I might one day pick up this book again and read it through. If I hadn't already been annoyed, I probably would've continued on. there was just this kind of sudden plot twist that was making NO sense.

Now, as I said, the story wasn't really bad. So when I got to the point in the book where stuff just turned downright confusing and nonsensical, I was already somewhat annoyed. But these things kind of made me annoyed. Mostly improper use a of commas and stuff like that. then I started noticing some grammatical errors. Those things made the book look a little unprofessional. There was a widow line, there was an ellipsis that looked like this: So, as I was reading this book, I saw first some formatting errors. There was nothing really wrong with the story here. Yara soon realizes that the past she was trying to put behind her isnÂ¿t going to go quietly. Yara finds herself entrenched in a sixty-year-old curse that haunts the school, threatening not only her life, but the lives of her closest friends as well. Her act of heroism draws the mistÂ¿s attention, and the dark spirit begins stalking her. She witnesses a dark mist attack Brent, a handsome fellow student, and rushes to his rescue. However, all that changes for Yara on her first day at her elite boarding school when she discovers the gene was only lying dormant. She has been dreading the day when she too would see ghosts, and is relieved that the usually dominant Waker gene seems to have skipped her, letting her live a normal teenage life. Yara grew up watching her grandmother taunted and scorned for this unusual ability and doesnÂ¿t want that to be her future. Her grandma, like the other females in her family, is a Waker, someone who can see and communicate with ghosts. Sixteen-year-old Yara Silva has always known that ghosts walk alongside the living.
